This year, we presented our event at the expo of Istria100 by UTMB - the most popular regional ultra race. Our representatives Igor Jovanovski and Aleksandar Buleski arrived on April 13 in Umag, Croatia and immediately started with registration and setting up OUT booth in the sports hall where BIB packages of 100 Miles of Istria were also awarded.
In all 5 races at distances of 168, 111, 69, 40 and 20 kilometers, about 2100 runners registered, of which 1999 runners started. The expo section was well organized and we were placed in the middle section right across our friends from Julian Alps Trail by UTMB stand and friends and Alpe Adria Trail Cup which Ohrid Ultra-Trail is part of since this year. Renting the space allowed us to be present at the fair during three days with different schedules, the first two of which - the 13th and 14th (Thursday and Friday) turned out to be extremely fruitful and interesting.
During these three days, the team made contact with over 400 runners from all over the world, and with great passion we presented the natural beauty of Galicica National Park and the spiritual and cultural wealth of town of Ohrid and invited all of them to join us in the race in 2024.
